Photoshop is the pioneer of digital image manipulation and continues to be the best photo editing program. In addition, Photoshop CS6 is the best tool for layering image editing, including typography, 3D modeling, and drawing!

As a professional photographer, I have plenty of software tools under my belt, but I'd still recommend Photoshop if I had to choose only one to work with. It's been a while since I upgraded, so I bought the full license and installed it with ease. If you're any type of a digital artist and don't have Photoshop, what are you waiting for? :)
